Hi All,

Watch out for his “Fool Moon” album which could be purchased at CHM but most importantly, I feel that creating awareness and appreciating his music is the most noble thing one can do. I do not care how much he is ripped off by CHM but that is non of my business. All I want to do is to play my part in promoting his music to every PNG music lover accross the world. Watch out on this site for more updates and links to Anslom’s music. Yauro, Kanda scratch!

Welcome to my blog about Anslom. Anslom is the name of a Papua New Guinean artist and who rose to fame in the early 2000 when he first won the ‘Rouke of the Year’ award at the PNG Music Awards. Since then, he has been among the top recording artists in the local music industry and has dominated local musical charts.

I am one of his fans whom he knows by the name “Samuel” when I first spoke from Japan about his music on ABC radio, In-the-Loop program live. I was able to acknowledge his music when we both were on air live.

This is one of the lines that I spoke: “I agree with Anslom on what he says about his music. He is an award winner and an artist with great potential. His music has reached greater heights in recent years including the album “Fool Moon” and I wish him good luck in his career”. After the announcer told Anslom about this, below is what Anslom said.

“Oh really! Thank you, thank you, Wantok”. Anslom said with a surprise. From there, I could understand how much our local artists needed to advance in their career in terms of support and encouragement.

I am one of his fans and have decided to promote his music in any way possible. This is one way of helping our struggling local stars to improve their potentials and talents.

Please, leave a comment, email me, watch Anslom on my youtube site, or purchase his albums at CHM, which I am sure, he’d be proud of. Read more about Anslom below.
